The Christian Fellowship Sunday School class is a class very much defined by its name.  We seek to discover God’s word in an  environment that is relaxing, nurturing and fun.  This class was known as the Young Christian Fellowship class 22 years ago.  With over 50 members (average attendance 30), with member’s ages spanning six decades (20's to 70's), we proudly boast that we now are the “Young at Heart” Christian Fellowship class.  Many things define who we are.

As a family of believers, we study God’s word and seek ways to personally apply lessons learned.  The class is facilitated by servant leaders who prepare lessons based on various published curricula.  Discussions are lively and relevant as class members share personal and professional experiences.  As such, we support one another on our faith journeys.

As a community of Christ’s children, we believe in outreach through mission work.  We actively support the ministries of youth, worship, music, prayer, hospitality and fellowship.  Members can often be found organizing and helping with the church picnic, youth fundraising events, mission trips, book/clothing/toy drives, NEST, Rainbows, and AIDS Hospice meal preparation and many are   members of United Methodist Men and United Methodist Women.

Activities the class enjoys include a supper club, Christmas party, class picnics and competing in (and often winning) the various church-sponsored competitions (Olympics, chili cook-off, best dessert, tug-of-peace, etc.).  Through our Sunshine Fund we support church members during times of need.  We often minister to others through meals, cards and prayers.  We spend our class time equally between fellowship, offering prayer requests and thanksgiving for praises followed by the day’s lesson.  We meet all year.

It might be said that this class does not know a stranger.  We invite you to visit and we pray that you will find a home among us.  The coffee pots are always on.
