Children
Children truly are our future and as we lead our children to know Christ, many times we find him ourselves. Children teach us how to worship and how to find blessings in the little things. Christ said to let the children come to him and that we should be like little children in our faith. We are blessed here at GBUMC to be surrounded by so many children! Our children's programming is very strong! We hope that you will find a home here at GBUMC for you and your children!
Christian Education
Nursery - New born - 3 years during all worship hours.
Children's Time & Children's Church - 8:00 AM
During the Worship service children 4 years - 3rd Grade may participate with Children's Time and then enjoy Children's Church in room 135.
Sunday School - 9:30 AM
Our children's Sunday school program at 9:30 AM will have the Preschool - 2nd Grade classes using the Rock Solid curriculum. Rock Solid goes beyond teaching knowledge of God and the Bible by inspiring our children to really know God personally. 3rd - 5th graders will be using Live B.I.G. (Believe in God) which is designed to help children understand Scripture; know God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit; and build relationships with others.
Kid's Own Worship / Sunday School - 11:00 AM
Children will be grouped in age levels to experience Kid's Own Worship. Children will experience all aspects of worship in a special way of praise, song, story (the Bible), prayer and stewardship.
