Children’s Ministry

Mission

The goal of Great Bridge United Methodist Church’s Children’s Ministry is to develop your child’s personal knowledge and love of Jesus Christ through learning, worship, fellowship, and service; to encourage them to be guided by God’s love and teachings in their everyday lives; to lead them to seek God’s will for their lives, to minister to others in Christ’s name and to bind them to the community of faith.

We serve Newborns-5th grade:

Sunday School
Childcare
Vacation Bible School
K-2nd/3rd-5th Grade Fellowship
Special Events are offered throughout the year!

“Let the children come to me…”
 Matthew 19:14

All students are encouraged to attend worship with their families prior to Sunday School.  During the service, children will be invited to “Children’s Time” to hear a word from the Pastor.  Following “Children’s Time” they will be escorted by Sunday School teachers to their appropriate classroom.

We Prioritize Safety!

Families must check in students at a Check-In Kiosk outside of the Sanctuary or in the Children’s Wing.

Upon sign in, students and parents will receive a matching identification sticker that children will wear during Sunday School.  For student safety, all students must be picked up by an adult who holds the matching identification sticker.
