Sunday School
GBUMC has a very active Sunday school program for Adults, Young Adults, Youth & Children. Our Sunday School program has opportunities during 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Sunday school classes participate in various social activities and mission projects. We hope this information will assist you in selecting a class that will help you grow in Christ. Come out and fellowship with other believers and learn more about our Lord!

Bible Study
Through Bible Study we are strengthened in our faith and grow in our relationship with God. Several Bible Study opportunities are available throughout the year Disciple Bible studies, Women's Bible Studies and varying Group studies. We hope you will check back with us to see when new studies begin.
UPCOMING Studies:
Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed - Beginning Thursday, Jan. 19 from 7 - 9 p.m. in room 132, this is a 6 - week study of David. There is some homework & great DVD sessions by Kay Arthur, Priscilla Shirer & Beth Moore. If you are interested, please contact Kathy Case by email. Everyone is welcome.
J. Ellsworth Kalas Bible Study - “The Thirteen Apostles” Twelve men personally chosen by Jesus to lead in his ministry of spreading God’s word and love - and later, a thirteenth. If asked, few of us could name them all; and yet, Jesus left his mission and message in the care of this small group of men. Today, their spiritual descendants fill the world. Join us on Wed., Jan. 18th at 6:30 p.m. in room 136 as we begin our journey with the group that walked with Jesus.
Final Words from the Cross by Adam Hamilton - This small-group study DVD contains seven teaching sessions featuring Hamilton providing fresh insight into Jesus’ final words at the cross through the perspective of those who witnessed the crucifixion. Then, he moves beyond the cross to Jesus' words to the disciples on the road to Emmaus and to those who were witnesses to the Resurrection. You can join this study beginning Wednesday, Feb. 8th at 6:30 p.m. in room 119 or Sunday, Feb. 19th at 9:30 a.m. in room 135 or 11 a. m. in room 109.
Confirmation - In the United Methodist Church, Confirmation is open to youth (grades 7 - 12) who wish to become disciples of Christ by professing their faith and becoming a member of the congregation. If you - or someone you know - are interested in participating in Confirmation, please contact the church office at 482-1049 or by email to greatbridgeumc@verizon.net. The first event will be on Sunday, February 12th, at 2:00 p.m. Confirmands, parents and mentors are invited as we begin this spiritual journey.
CURRENT Studies:
Beth Moore Bible Study - "James: Mercy Triumphs" beginning Thursday, January 12 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. in room 136. Join James who starts as a skeptic but becomes a disciple with one glimpse of the Savior.
