Women
The United Methodist Women meet in small groups called Circles. Circles meet once a month either in the home of a member, at the church or other meeting place. Each Circle is involved in and support a variety of different women's missions. All women are welcome and some circles provide childcare.

- FRIENDSHIP - Meets the 1st Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m. - NEXT MEETING: Tues., Sept 7
- GRACE - Meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. - NEXT MEETING: Tues., Sept 7
- LIGHT - Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 12:00 p.m.
- LOVE - Meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
- KAY REEL - Meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m.

Beth Moore Bible Study - "Here & Now - There & Then" a study on Revelations. Thursday, September 16 through November 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. in room 136 or Wednesday, September 15 from 7 - 9 in room 112. Child care available.
Bunco for Missions Night - Tuesday, September 21st 7 - 8:30 p.m in GBUMC Social Hall sponsored by UMW Circle of Light to benefit Lindenwood Elementary School in Norfolk . *Please bring school supplies to donate. Current needs.
Young Woman's Retreat - "Can You Hear God" - September 24 - 25 at the United Methodist Assembly Center in Blackstone. This event is hosted by the Virginia Conference of United Methodist Women and is for all women ages 18-35. UMW Annual Yard Sale - October 4 - 9 - Drop off your treasures beginning Monday, October 4 - Friday, October 8 - Sale days Friday, October 8 and Saturday, October 9.
